Beautiful Sleepwear For The Holidays!

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!!! We both feel as if we may have consumed more food in a weekend then we do in a month! Bev had a laid back family Thanksgiving and so did Val…until Val’s brother announced that he wasn’t feeling that well..just a mild cold right? NO..positive for Covid and the family is exposed. Well…we are happy to say that everyone has been tested and we are all negative for Covid. What a scary time.

We have found some exceptional sleepwear for the holidays that you may want to gift yourself (we will) or purchase as gifts for the ladies in your life. If you really like what you see…share our post with your significant other and see if you get lucky.

Everyone has their favorite type of sleepy time apparel….nightgown’s, pajama sets…chemise! There are so many choices available in a myriad of colors and fabrics that finding something you like will not be a problem. We hope you like some of our picks too.

We found this Eberjey jumpsuit at Neiman’s and love it. The fabric is very, very soft and talk about multi use- think beach cover up and flip flops for the beach or in colder climes- long sleeve top underneath to just wrap gifts. It’s featured in the photo of us above.

Bev loves the satin pajamas that Banana Republic offers at this time of the year. She tried these two years ago and are now restocked yearly. This year’s version runs a little large so size down. The side pockets on the pants and the inverted pleat on the back- so good. She also ordered the short set for the camisole top. It’s the perfect item to wear underneath the long sleeve pj shirt if you have a house full of guests- you get the drift. They are on sale so act fast.

A brand that has many wonderful options is Natori. They make beautiful satin robes, gowns, and pj sets. Next time you have a chance try on some of their sleepwear and see for yourself. Their fleece robes are some of the softest we have found. Imagine sitting in front of a roaring fire, with a cup of coffee while reading a book. Reality looks a little different- but there is a glass of wine hahaha!

How many times have you rinsed dishes while wearing a robe that has beautiful flowing sleeves only to douse those beautiful flowing sleeves with water? Yuck! Here’s an alteration tip for the satin robes- have your tailor secure the belt in the back from loop to loop on the top and bottom seam of the belt. That way the belt won’t slip through and fall on the floor.
