Easy Fall Makeup Look
We decided to focus on an easy daytime makeup looks that incorporate some of the trending colors. We are happy to share products that we use, found and how we use them. If you have any questions, leave them in the comments below.
Bev’s Look
Primers-Tinted Moisturizers-Powders-Blush
Bev starts with the lune+aster Real Glow Primer prep+go applied with a makeup sponge. This primer leaves your skin looking luminous and can be worn alone. Next, she applies lune+aster CC Tinted Moisturizer with a moistened makeup sponge. She sets this using a powder brush and the bareMinerals Mineral Veil loose powder. This is a great setting powder and can be used as a neutral eye shadow. The Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks blush is applied with finger tips on the apples of the cheeks and doubles as a lip tint.
In the summer and warm weather climates, Bev uses Alastin Hydratint Pro Mineral Sunscreen with SPF 36 and sets this with the Color Science Sunforgettable Brush-On sunscreen SPF50. We have linked all the products below, just click on a photo for more information.
Eyes
The eyes start with the L’Oreal Brow Stylist Shape and Fill to give more definition to the eyebrow. Bev uses either Chantecaille Brightening Eye Kajal or bareMinerals Mineral Veil powder in translucent to highlight along the eyebrow. To line the under eye, Bev uses the Sephora 12 hr. Contour Pencil Eyeliner. She likes a black eyeliner on her lower lid. Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier make wonderful Long Wear Cream Shadow Sticks that come in many colors to go with any skin tone. They glide on with no tugging of the delicate eyelid and come in a variety of shades. Bev’s mascara is Maybelline. YSL’s Touche Eclat High Cover concealer is wonderful for small areas you need extra concealer for. Again, it is a very creamy formulation that does not tug the skin. We have linked all of these products for you below. Click on any photo for more information.
Lips
Bev has two favorite brands here- Charlotte Tilbury and Westman Atelier. The Charlotte Tilbury lip liner Lip Cheat Lip Liner, Lip Luster Lip Gloss and lipstick in both a Satin finish and a Matte finish. Please note, the lipsticks are refillable by ordering online. Westman Atelier’s Baby Cheeks stick blush worn as a lip color and the Squeaky Clean Liquid Lip Balm is great over the lip color or on it’s own. We have linked all of these products below. Val’s Look
Tinted Moisturizer-Bronzer-Blush
Val starts her look with Estee Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue Makeup Base. It is creamy, has a SPF of 45 and is best applied with your fingers or a foundation brush. Primers designed to even out skin tones and smoothes and moisturizes the skin and helps the other makeup stay in place. Next Val applies a light amount Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder with a bronzing brush, just to give a little depth to her skin tone. Next is the Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge For Lips and Cheeks-another product that does double duty. Val applies this product using a foundation brush. Val finalizes this with Bobbi Brown Blush using a blush brush. This blush has a matte finish with long-lasting wear. All of these products are linked below. Click on any photo for more information.
Eyes
To define, boost, thicken and add color to her eyebrows Val uses Rodan+Field Brow Defining Boost and is available in 4 shades. Next, Val applies her eye shadow using either Trish McEvoy Glaze Eyeshadow in Cream or Topaz or MAC eyeshadow in Nylon. Next, the Estee Lauder Smoke & Brighten Kajal Eyeliner Duo, lines the eye and is also used in the crease of the lid. The Estee Lauder Eyelash Primer and the Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Mascara create a natural lash that stays on all day. Val uses Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Eye Cream Primer and Moisturizer and YSL Touche Eclat Undereye Concealer Pen for the under eye area. The Bobbi Brown Skin Corrector Stick is a great concealer. It’s always good to have a few on hand. We have linked all of these products below. Click on any photo below for more information.
Lips
As far as lipsticks go, Val loves Tom Ford in Casablanca and Bobbi Brown in Bahama Brown. Both of these shades are right on trend for this Fall. Tom Ford has a luxurious lipstick that has an ultra creamy texture and great color saturation. Bobbi Brown’s lipsticks have a rich satin finish and hydrate and nourish for 10 hours.
