Eye Masks, Eye Creams and Tips for Looking Refreshed If You Lack Sleep!

A poor nights sleep is a problem many women have. Either you cannot fall asleep…or you fall asleep and wake up in the middle of the night and you are up! We are busy making lists of what needs to be done the next day, worrying or just plain cannot sleep no matter what you do. Counting sheep does not work!!! So what do you do to look bright eyed and refreshed in the morning. We have some ideas that we hope will help.

We consulted with Laurie, Makeup and Eyebrow Specialist at Todd’s Room to see if she had any ideas on how to look more refreshed after a sleepless night. Here are some of her top tips and ideas.

Reduce alcohol consumption the night before

Increase your water intake

Reduce dairy intake including hard cheese

Your nutritional intake should be mostly fresh foods

Place under eye masks in the refrigerator before use

Mix your concealer with your moisturizer

Apply your moisturizer along the crest of the zygomatic arch with your ring finger gently

Our eyes have the most sensitive skin and quickly show signs of sleepless nights. We know because it is a problem we have personally experienced. If you have found a way to combat this problem please let us know as we have heard from so many of our friends that they struggle with this!
