Fall Nail Colors For The Upcoming Season!

We are getting our manicures and pedicures ready for fall! We have picked out some great colors and brands that you will love. In the midwest we are still wearing open toe sandals and wedges until October so we want our feet to look good. We both love a neutral nail because it looks so clean and fresh and coordinates with anything you may be wearing. We go a different route with a pedicure! Fall colors like brown, burgundy, blues and polishes in various shades of green are what we love! We have rounded up multiple polish colors that we feel are perfect for the fall!

How To Do Your Own Manicure

Bev has done her own manicure for years. Working as a dental hygienist, she needed to have well manicured nails in subtle natural colors. The gloves and frequent hand washing are very tough on a manicure so she figured every 5 days she could just do her own. Using a light polish color makes chips less noticeable.

Gather your tools- nail polish remover, cotton balls, nail clippers, nail file, cuticle oil, hand cream, base coat, nail polish and top coat

File your nails, use hand cream and cuticle oil- push cuticles back and/or trim cuticles. Remove the current polish.

Choose a base coat. Bev likes the Orly Base Coat Nail Defense. It helps to strengthen weak nails.

Choose a color- this is the Best Part!!! Remember, when using a lighter color, apply a thicker coat of polish for maximum coverage.

Choose a top coat. Bev uses Seche Vite Top Coat Quick Drying. It is the best!!!
