Eight Fall Outfits With Leggings

When the jean profile shifted to a wider leg, did you think- what should I do with my leggings? We hope you didn’t throw any pair away because they are still considered a wardrobe staple. Pair your leggings with longer sweaters, vests and shackets and you’ll create a fall outfit that you can wear on repeat. They are a comfortable alternative to jeans. We still love jeans but leggings can be just as versatile. Today we are sharing a round-up of leggings outfits you can wear throughout the Fall Season.

Styling a Fall oufit with leggings starts with following a few points. Balance and proportion are key- when you have the narrow profile on the bottom a larger top balances this out. Ponchos, longer and oversized sweaters, vests and jackets are a good choice. Another point is make sure your top falls below the top of your thighs to CYA. Also, you create the illusion of an elongated leg by matching the color of your footwear with your legging. Follow these points and you will have Fall outfits that you will feel great in. Also, accessories such as belts and purses add interest and detail to these outfits.

The Monochromatic look is one that can be dressed up and elevated. A faux leather legging and a suede knee high or over the knee boot would be a good choice.
