Nordstrom Anniversary Beauty Finds!

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is now open to all! This sale is a great time to stock up on items you use all year round. The sale also gives you the opportunity to try a new skin cream, body lotion or a device that you have been curious about! There are also some items that would make great hostess gifts for special occasions. We have found it to be helpful to have some of these items such as candles or diffusers available if you need a hostess gift and simply don’t have time to shop!

The beauty counter at Nordstrom is like a candy counter for kids for us! So many things to try…where do you start!! It is just so much fun to try on new eye shadows and lipsticks….you never know what you may find!! Ha!

Makeup

Nars Climax Mascara builds lash volume and your lashes look super dark and thick! The Bobbi Brown Luster & Glow Eyeshadow Palette & Mascara is $170 value for $65.00! The shadows are beautiful shades for the fall including matte and metallic shades. We have come to really like cream shadow and this group of creamy shadows from Laura Mercier come in three neutral shades that can be layered and will last up to twelve hours. Bev loves Pillowtalk from Charlotte Tilbury. This Pillowtalk Lip Set is normally $92 but on sale for $62 and includes the Pillow Talk lipliner, lipstick and gloss. Have to say that the Riki Loves Riki Mirror is a mirror we have both used for several years and absolutely love!!! This mirror has som many features including 5x magnification for precise makeup application! The lighting is so natural and your makeup looks great. The mirror is normally $225 and is now on sale for $154!

Skincare

Revitalash will work as long as you are religious about applying it every evening before bed! We have not tried the neuLash but have heard so many positive compliments about it we thought that it would be one of those products to try! Clarins Total Eye Lift does give the eye area a nice lift and leaves your eye area looking moisturized. We love balm cleansers! They leave your skin so soft! The Elemis Cleansing Balm in jumbo size is normally $115 but is currently on sale for $89! Sisley Paris is well Sisley Paris!!! Beautiful skincare and the Sisley Paris Velvet Nourishing Cream Set is normally $304 but is on sale for $200 and includes a full size Velvet Nourishing Cream. That is truly a great value.

Fragrance

Jo Malone has so many luscious perfumes, body washes and creams. We really like this line and especially since some of the Jo Malone scents are now on sale! Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede Cologne Duo and English Pear & Freesia Cologne Duo are both on sale! Read more about some of our favorite summer scents here! Fragrance is subjective so the fragrance we like you may not but these are the perfumes currently available on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse is our favorite self tan mousse. When you use this tanning mousse…please apply with a mitt and make sure you have moisturized beforehand…the mousse will give you a beautiful tan and we promise no orange undertones!! The NuFACE Trinity Facial Toning System is a microcurrent skin care regimen that smoothes and helps lift and contour the face is a simple regimen that helps maintain a youthful complexion. Definitely could use new makeup brushes too! When the bristles start falling out and your makeup isn’t being applied perfectly anymore you might want to consider an update!! The MAC Cosmetics Brush with Greatness Travel Kit is a $110 value currently on sale for $50!
