Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

We know it’s hard to believe that we actually start shopping for fall and winter clothes in July at Nordstrom Anniversary Sale but it is true and a smart thing to do. Why?…because the savings are incredible on the items you need the most at a time you might not be thinking about purchasing them.

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the perfect time to consider what you need for the coming seasons. Literally the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has thousands of fall items on sale. And once the sale is over, all the prices will go back to regular pricing. Now is the time to strike! We all need a great pair of black boots, coats and jeans RIGHT! 

In saying that we strongly believe that just because an item is on sale does not mean you should purchase it…you have to love it..it should fit in your wardrobe and it should fit you too…or it will be one of those “what was I thinking purchases.” I think we have all had some of those purchases..right!!!

Some of our favorite designers and brands are Good American, Rails, Vince, Veronica Beard, Mother, Stuart Weitzman, Revitalash, Reiss, Sam Edelman and Frame. Many of these brands are included in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year. Last year Bev bought a gorgeous pair of tall boots from Veronica Beard and Val a pair from Stuart Weitzman!

You probably have your faves as well, so keep an eye on the items you like. Don’t dawdle, in fact, our strategy will be to purchase and if needed, return products that need to go back as the Nordstrom policy of free shipping and returns makes this easy. You could also shop on line and request curbside or in store pickup too and get your purchases that days! Nordstrom makes shopping so easy!

Keep in mind that items do sell out and some are restocked but you can’t always be certain of that.

It is important to become a Nordy Club Member. It is easy and free to open this account. Go to Nordstrom.com to fill out an application.

Sign Up For A Nordstrom Credit Card

Nordstrom Cardholders can shop Early Access starting July 8th depending on your status!! How do you find our what your status is at Nordstrom?? Go to Nordstrom.com, sign in, click on Your Account then click on Nordy Club to determine if you are an Icon, Ambassador, or Influencer! Then you will know exactly when you can shop!

Strategy

How do you shop the sale? Start adding the items you are interested in to your Wishlist. Remember…Nordstrom’s policy of free shipping ANYWHERE in the United States makes it easy for you to order what you want and if you change your mind you can always return the item.

This sale is the time to concentrate on investment pieces that you have had your eye on but just couldn’t quite get the credit card out of your wallet! Items like investment bags, leather jackets, upscale dresses and jeans are some examples of what we are talking about. Perfect items to put in your wishlist to stay organized.

Stock up on those beauty brands that you love! This includes hair products and body creams!

We love coats here in the Midwest…if you would like to get a coat in a bright new shade for the winter now is the time to nab it!

Don’t forget to take advantage of the items you could purchase as gifts, beauty products to stock up on, great staples for your home and gifts for the littles in your life.

Some of Our Favorites At The NSale!

NSale # 1

The Veronica Beard Battista Jacket is so versatile not to mention stylish. Definitely on Bev’s wishlist! The Cinq A Sept Blouse is beautiful! You cannot see the back of the blouse in this picture but there are pretty flowers on the back also! Looks good with white jeans for the summer and will transition well into the fall with your regular denim or a denim skirt and boots! On Val’s wishlist! This little Sam Edelman kitten heel slingback caught our eye while we were shopping! So much more impressive in person than the pictures presents!

NSale # 2

Absolutely love this cape raincoat….so perfect for a rainy day in the Midwest. The Veronica Beard Crosbie Jean would be an easy one to style now and into the fall too! We love this fun little bag from Dolce Vida too!

NSale # 3

Flats are often are our go to shoe when running around town! The red flat and the leopard flat are two of our faves this fall. How cute is this little clutch from Nina!

NSale # 4

The Paige Anessa Jean fits beautifully. We thought the Kurt Geiger loafers and the kitten heel bootie from Donald Pliner would add so much to your fall wardrobe! The embellished clutch from Nina is not on sale but we couldn’t stop ourselves but including it! It is simply stunning!

NSale # 5

The knee high boot from Stuart Weitzman is still pricey but if you are looking for a boot like this now is the time! Val has purchased many Stuart Weitzman boots in the past from this sale and they are still in her closet and have held up well during some of our harshest winters!! The dress from Donna Karan is a classic and we love the silhouette.
