Our 3 Favorite Lipstick Brands For Summer Smiles

Now that summer is on it’s way, we’d love to share our 3 favorite lipstick brands for that summer smile. We have included lip liners, glosses and lip treatments to round out the information. Whether you choose to still wear a mask or not, having that beautiful lip is still important to your makeup routine.

We were so excited to go to Nordstrom and discover what some of the new summer shades for lips are. We were delighted to meet Lindsey Hritzak, a Charlotte Tilbury specialist at the Somerset Collection in Troy, Michigan. Lindsey is also familiar with many makeup lines sold at Nordstrom. We shared with her some of our favorites and we had fun experimenting.

Charlotte Tilbury

Bev already wears Dance Floor Princess. It is creamy and the color really works well on many skin tones. Pillow Talk lip liner is a nude that you could literally wear with many of the Charlotte Tilbury lip colors. The new line, The Look of Love Collection, is beautiful. We focused on lip colors but there are many eyeshadow palettes that you may want to check out. “Expertly curated and universally flattering to suit everyone!” is how Charlotte Tilbury describes this line. Bev purchased Wedding Belles Lipstick and because it is a matte lipstick, she also purchased the Lip Lustre Lip Lacquer in Hall of Fame to add a bit of shine. Pillow Talk is certainly one of Charlotte Tilbury’s most popular shades and there are so many others to choose from. The lipstick cases are gorgeous and refillable.

Chanel

Chanel is timeless!!! Val did purchase the Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue Liquid Lip Color in Sensual Rose. It is a duo..the lipstick on one end and the gloss on the other. When we tell you this lipstick will stay on even after eating and drinking..we are not kidding. It stayed on all day! You simply apply gloss to perk it up throughout the day. This is great for use on your wedding day or other important events in your life. Chanel’s Le Lift Levres Et Contours is a cream that is a deep lip treatment that gives a plumping effect while smoothing and firming the lip and smile lines.

Dior

Val has worn Dior lipstick for years. They have so many formulations and colors to choose from. If you need to purchase a lipstick you would most certainly find it at the Dior counter. The Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil is a new addition to the Dior line along with Addict Lip Glow Balm. The Lip Glow Oil is a nourishing lip oil that is an intense gloss that enhances the natural color of your lips. This formula is non sticky and non greasy. Dior Addict Lacquer Stick and The Rouge Dior Lipsticks are creamy and sensational.
