Sandals-Summer’s Simply Essential Shoe

Sandals truly are a summer essential and a staple for the summer that we all need and love!

In saying this, the issues we both have with sandal purchases are what prompted this post. Bev’s issue is finding a sandal she likes and buying it on repeat in every color…not a good strategy as your sandal collection has a singularity and can become boring. Val’s issue is just buying what she likes and not thinking about what she plans on styling them with. The negative here is when she goes to put together an outfit she has nothing to wear with it!!! This is crazy!

We are going to talk about some of our favorites which we have organized in categories. Hopefully this will help simplify your choices based on your lifestyle!

Sandals

Flat Sandals…These are the basics. Easy to wear with shorts, shorts, skirts, dresses and pants…you name it…they are universal!

Dressier Sandals…Just a flat sandal with a little bling. These look so cute with a maxi dress. Val purchased the cutest pair of dressier flats to wear to Tom’s daughters wedding in Mexico on the beach and they were so pretty and ornate and fit in beautifully with her dress.

Heeled Sandals…These sandals can be very casual and look great with jeans and casual outfits but can be super dressy too…we will show you a few examples!

Walkable Heeled Sandals….we will show you what we mean….great for shopping!

Sandals must be comfortable for us to list them as our favorites. You never pay too much attention to your feet until they hurt so bad you have a hard time walking. There are so many stylish options available so you never have to compromise your comfort for beauty!!
