Thankful For Fashion-What To Wear For Thanksgiving

Don’t know about you guys, but we have noticed that there are not many dresses to choose from that we would feel comfortable and confident in! With Thanksgiving just around the corner, we thought we’d better get a head start on this. We found some beautiful outfits that would be perfect if you are hosting and other outfits if you are the guest. Being waited on makes food mishaps less likely- and less likely that you will be invited back so make the feeble offer to help!! Back to the discussion about outfits.

Great To Wear If You Are A Guest

Since finding a dress is more of a challenge, we found two great black dresses that have been in production since last year. The LBD is always a safe and wonderful choice for any occasion. The two that we found are so comfortable and versatile. They would be a great go-to in your closet. One is the Veronica Beard Ruched Shirtdress. It’s pretty much a year round dress with a fabric that is a little stretchy and holds you in- great for Thanksgiving right. The ruching defines your waist and makes you feel sexy. Bev has on a size 6 and loves the length. The other is the Banana Republic Colleta Off the Shoulder Sweater Dress. We featured this in a previous blog post here. We are so glad that this is still offered and in other color choices as well. It’s so soft, figure flattering and is the fabric is the perfect choice if your skin is sensitive to wool. Val is wearing a small.

When hosting, we always like to wear something comfortable, stylish and durable. Usually a casual dress, jeans, pants and a sweater or top.
