We have definitely fallen for ballet flats! There are so many reasons to embrace the ballet flat trend! Ballet flats have been around for a long time! In the 50’s ballet flats became very popular due to Hollywood icon Audrey Hepburn and other celebrities.
Ballet flats combine elegance, comfort, and versatility in a way few shoes can. They are so comfortable and slip on and off the feet so easily. You can wear them with jeans and skorts. They would be wonderful to slip on after a round of golf. They would look so good with sundresses too as an alternative to sandals or tennis shoes. In addition they are available in a wide array of colors and prints too.
The reasons to wear ballet flats are endless and if you have always wondered if you would want to purchase a pair now is the time to try a few on and give them a chance!!

There are many different types of ballet flats available today. There are square toe ballet flats, the classic round toe ballet flat, mesh ballet flats, pointed toe ballet flats, and Mary Jane ballet flats.

The Larroude Verona is a super comfy Mary Jane type of ballet flat. Val has them on in the picture above. They are constructed of a chunky woven raffia macrame and sport a cute gold heart buckle. It does have a leather sole with memory foam.
Everlane The Day Ballet Flat
The Everlane Ballet Flat is made of a buttery soft leather which explains how comfortable this flat is. It has a squarer toe too and a simple bow on top. This is a basic ballet flat that will go with so many outfits in your closet!
Circus NY By Sam Edelman Zuri Flat
The Sam Edelman Zuri Flat has crisscrossing straps and a dainty bow detail which adds sweet flourishes to this streamlined ballet flat.
Margaux The Demi Ballet Flat

This Vivaia Mary Jane Flat comes is available in so many colors but the red tone is stunning. The knit upper is made from plastic bottles which surprised us!! A square toe and adjustable strap finish the look.
Maeve Knotted Bow Flats
The Anthropologie Maeve Flat has a cute little bow on the top of the shoe which we loved. It is also available in black!
