It may seem just a little too early to be looking at booties but it really is not! Fall is right around the corner even though the weather will remain nice through September in the Midwest. Wearing booties in the fall is one of life’s simple pleasures. They look so good with jeans, denim skirts and some dresses. You most certainly can wear them when the weather is still warm (not too warm!) as transition footwear as we move into those cooler months.
Now is the time to take a long, hard look at your booties from last season and see if you might need a bootie refresh. Take the booties that look good but may need a little freshening up to your local shoe repair store and the rest of them…well you know what to do with those.
We like to have a couple options of black booties for sure. Saddle brown, chocolate brown, and taupe are also nice to own. If you have a limited budget for clothing don’t worry about owning the ivory or white boots….your brown boots with be fine.

The Vivaia Boot gets such high ratings we were blown away. They are soft with a stretchy upper and a square toe. The uppers are actually constructed of plastic bottles. The architectural heel caught our attention as it adds so much style to this boot. You literally could walk around all day in this boot. Many color options are available too.

For starters the Arya Boot comes in so many colors including metallics but this yummy chocolate brown suede was our fave! The shaft of the boot fits close to the leg and the heel height is a good one for most women. It is a boot that looks good with pants and denim.
Cole Haan Rebecca Bootie
A sleek, simple bootie with pretty gold hardware on the side looks so pretty styled with a skirt in the fall. The Rebecca Bootie is leather and has a rubber sole so the comfort factor is high!
