What Inspires Us

We are Bev and Val, two friends from Michigan who have lived here our whole lives, embracing our Midwest roots. Who are we? We are entrepreneurs, wives, moms, stepmoms, grandmothers, friends, sisters and Shih Tzu owner’s. After careers in medical sales and academic administration (Val) and dental hygiene (Bev), we are creating this blog for women over 50, who are at that stage in life where experience has taught you a thing or two. You find value in the people, moments and outfits you place yourself in.

We chose the name, “Seasons Embraced,” to highlight fashion choices for the four distinct seasons the Midwest offers and to embrace the season of life you are in.
