Black Dresses For All Seasons

We LOVE black dresses! Can you tell?? Black dresses are elegant, they are slimming and go with everything! We have selected some black dresses that we know you will like. Some of the dresses can be worn in winter and some are definitely transitional which is perfect for a midwest spring and fall. The Charles Henry Sweater Dress (that Val is wearing in small) and the Chelsea 28 Cold Shoulder Sweater Dress (that Bev is wearing in small) are great choices for winter wear. You can even add a pair of opaque tights and booties if you are feeling a bit chilly! These dresses are figure flattering and extremely comfortable! Try a pair of Spanx Thinstincts 2.0 Mid Thigh Shorts if you like a smooth profile under these sweater dresses- we tried them and they are game changers.

The Laura Dress from Q House of Basics (Val has on a small) and the Eileen Fisher Sleeveless Shift Dress (Bev has on an x-small) are perfect examples of two dresses that can take you from season to season with the right accessories and jackets. The sleeveless and one shoulder looks work great for a cold weather outfit with the jackets and boots we chose- these will easily go into spring and summer with sandals and different belts.

Q House of Basics is a company that Val’s sister-in-law, Linda, discovered. Their fabrics are made from custom knits, are so comfortable and on trend. The Eileen Fisher Shift Dress is perfect- love the fabric and shape of this classic and versatile dress.

The Nicole Miller Dress is perfect for spring, summer and fall. Val is wearing a small. The fabric is a high quality, substantial knit. The neckline is bra friendly and this dress can be dressed up or down. The Banana Republic Tiered Mini Dress is not too mini. Bev is wearing a small. The flowy design of this dress provides coverage.
