Labor Day has come and gone and now we are looking forward to the fall season here in the Midwest! This time of year has always been one of our favorites! School has started and our grandchildren are back in school, the nurseries have their beautiful mums out and we are contemplating hauling out our fall decor to start getting the house ready for this wonderful season!
Shopping for fall decor has always been part of the whole excitement of the fall season. Everything from table decor to decorating the entranceway to our homes is just so much fun!
We thought we would do some fall decor shopping and would like to share some of the fall-ish items we have found!
Fall Decor and Food
Grandin Road Fall Decor
Love decorating the front entrance of our homes! It is the first thing people see when they come to visit and you want to put your favorite fall items here for everyone to see! There is nothing better than natures abundance…harvested pumpkins and corn stalks are simply beautiful but the reality is if you live anywhere that has a significant deer and squirrel population you may want to consider faux foliage. Here is why!
Pottery Barn Fall Decor
Pottery Barn is a great resource for fall decorating. Big fluffy pillows in fall colors are great accent pieces to bring the feel of fall to your home. The pumpkin pillows are available in fall shades of green, brown and cream. Cozy Pumpkin Pillows would look beautiful in most any decor depending on the color that works best in your home.
The Arquette Pitcher loaded with seasonal fall stems would definitely amp up your fall decorations. Pottery Barn has many faux fall arrangements if you choose not to use fresh flowers that would look wonderful in this beautiful pitcher vase.
Target Fall Decor
Target has some of the cutest decorations this year and more importantly they are very affordable. Fall decorations add such a feeling of warmth to your home! Turn on the fireplace, light a scented candle, make some yummy chili and you are good to go!
The Target Pumpkin Serving Bowl is a perfect bowl to serve chili in! Keep reading below for one of our favorite chili recipes meant for the fall season.
Williams Sonoma Fall Decor
The Williams Sonoma Fall Live Centerpiece will most certainly be the center of attention. The centerpiece will last for six to twelve months as long as you keep it out of direct sunlight!
Neiman Marcus Fall Decor
Love the fall vibe of this Juliska Forest Talk Tureen! Would be the prettiest centerpiece for your fall table not to mention..dare I say….Thanksgiving!!!
Fall Scents
A scented candle is a must have to complete the fall ambiance you are creating in your home. The Nest Pumpkin Chai Candle is composed of a blend of wild pumpkin, spicy masala chai, cardamon, ginger and cinnamon!! So yummy!
