We wish all of you a nice Memorial Day however you celebrate this holiday weekend. Remembering and honoring those who served takes many forms- a moment of quiet thought or visiting with family and friends is most likely on your agenda.

Memorial Day pretty much signals the start of Summer as well. This is the time we start thinking of all the fun activities to enjoy in the warm weather and sunshine. Here in the Midwest, the weather is beautiful and everyone is enjoying it.

And there are many sales going on for Memorial Day. It is the perfect time to update your summer wardrobe if you are thinking of it. Our “Where We Shop” list of stores on the right – almost all of them have sales going today. Check them out if you have a few minutes. J Crew also has 40% off of most items and 60% off of sale items. Watch that these aren’t final sales, unless you know exactly how it fits. It’s not a value if it sits in your closet. Here are some great one piece swim suits and cover ups.

Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel have some great items on sale. If you are hosting an outdoor dinner or party this season, now is the time to grab your favorite serving pieces on sale.
