There are countless reasons to love golfing. It’s a social and enjoyable sport that allows you to spend time outdoors, get some fresh air, and enjoy some beautiful scenery. We constantly find joy in improving our game. And, maybe more importantly, we also like to find new ways to dress up for our time on the course. Given that playing golf requires a certain dress code, it can be confusing and intimidating for first-timers. So, today we’re sharing a round-up of outfits that you can wear to look and feel great when playing golf. 

10 Hole-In-One Golf Outfits

Dress codes vary from one golf course to the next, but there are some general rules to follow when deciding what to wear to play golf. To ensure you follow your local club dress code, we recommend choosing knee-length shorts, or skirts, skorts, and dresses that hit at the knee or just above it. As for picking out a golf shirt, you can’t go wrong with a crisp polo shirt. It’s up to you whether you feel most comfortable in sleeveless or short-sleeved tops. 

Fortunately, there are more options available today than ever before when it comes to golf attire. You’ll learn more about some of our favorites below. 

Remember to choose clothing that is both comfortable and that allows for a full range of motion. We also recommend choosing golf clothes that are made with lightweight, breathable fabrics. They’ll wick moisture to help keep you cool and dry while you’re on the course. Athleta Golf Skort Outfit

Athleta consistently produces high-quality athleticwear. We’ve been loving all the fun prints and designs showing up on golf skorts recently, but for this outfit, we opted for the more classic navy and white color combination.

Lucky In Love Golf Dress Outfit

Despite the name, this outfit has little to do with your love life. Although you might turn a few heads based on your style alone! We can’t tell you enough how grateful we are for golf dresses. They weren’t available years ago, but now you can see women’s golf dresses on golf courses everywhere. The Core Fast Paced Printed Jersey Golf Dress from Lucky in Love makes for such a fun outfit. Add a pair of spikeless golf shoes or a pair with soft spikes, and you’re ready to go!

RLX Golf Skort Outfit 

Here’s another great outfit option courtesy of RLX. Their Aline Faux Wrap 17″ Skort in white with navy trim is chic enough to wear off the course as well as on it. We like to pair it with the Air Tech Pique Sleeveless Shirt in white for a bold all-white outfit. You can go full monochromatic and add a pair of white soft-spike golf shoes, although we think a pair of navy blue shoes would look fabulous as well.

RLX Polo Dress Golf Outfit

The Tour Pique Short Sleeve Polo Dress in navy is our favorite golf dress from RLX. For starters, it’s stylish enough to wear as a casual day outfit or for lunch at the country club. As for wearing it as a golf dress, the Tour Pique dress is perfect for even the most scorching days under the sun. It’s made from moisture-wicking performance jersey fabric to help keep you cool. Grab one of your favorite bucket hats, slather on the sunscreen, and worry not about sun protection!

J McLaughlin Navy Golf Outfit

J McLaughlin is another fantastic brand to turn to for high-quality, stylish clothing. We have them to thank for two of our absolute favorite black turtlenecks! Their Lilibet Skort is a perfect example of just how far golf attire has come in recent years. We love pairing it with the Aelia Sleeveless Top in navy to create a stylish column of color. For those early morning tee times, you can slip on the Ainsley Cardigan.

J McLaughlin White Golf Outfit

Don’t worry, we didn’t forget about those of you who would prefer to wear shorts. With some great pieces from J McLaughlin, we created an all-white outfit that is just as comfortable as it is stylish. These off-white Thelma Shorts are impressively flexible for a pair of fitted shorts. We would wear them with a white Greens Cap Sleeve Polo and Fairfax Sweater in Heather Oatmeal/Egret White.

G/Fore Golf Dress Outfit

G/Fore has earned a reputation for producing modern golf attire. Their Contrast Collar Tech Nylon Quarter-Zip Dress is one of our favorite pieces by G/Fore, although we both agree that we would happily wear just about anything they make. It’s a mega-popular golf dress though, so it can be hard to find. But act fast! And if you want a jacket to wear over it, we highly recommend the Silky Tech Nylon Ruched Full Zip Layer Golf Jacket in white.

G/Fore Golf Skort Outfit

This is another fantastic option from G/Fore. The Cherry Blossom Silky Tech Nylon A-Line Skort is comfortable, modern, and trendy. With built-in nylon shorts, you can look great and focus on your game without worrying about revealing too much. The Pleated Collar Tech Pique Sleeveless Polo in Snow is the perfect top to wear with it, and for a top layer, we like the Featherweight Silky Tech Nylon Quarter Zip Polo in twilight. 

Nivo Dress Golf Outfit 

We have one more golf dress option for you: the Lily Colorblock Sleeveless Dress from Nivo Sports. This is a fantastic option because it’s made from a unique fabric that is cooling and breathable, and even contains “antimicrobial properties that inhibit the growth of bacteria,” a.k.a. you can sweat all day long and this dress will know no difference. It also offers 50+ sun protection, so what’s not to love?

Last but certainly not least is this wonderful outfit featuring three great pieces from Belyn Key.
