If you are like most women, the thought of putting on a bathing suit in mid-February doesn’t thrill you. Well it doesn’t thrill us either, however, if you have the nerve, now is a good time to start looking.
Bathing suit shopping is like jean shopping- go when you have time dedicated to trying on a ton of suits and options. Look for ruching (our friend) and high quality fabrics. These details may increase the price but you are worth it. Look for bathing suits that are comfortable and give you confidence and please do not be too hard on yourselves!
We both feel shopping for bathing suits can be stressful. Women can be so hard on themselves. We look in the mirror and see figure flaws that may or may not be as noticeable to others as you think. Shopping for one piece bathing suits for women over 60 is not for the faint of heart…you know what we mean!!!
So yes…it is that time of year again and you are thinking about replacing some of your bathing suits that you either don’t like or maybe they just don’t fit like they used to. Cute styles… they all seem to have high cut legs, not good for larger hips, though?
Hi Felicia…There are three of them with a high leg..the Lands End Swim Suit,The Cancun and the Ibiza from Bravissimo. Some women with long legs like the higher leg line because it elongates the leg…not me (Val) because I do not like my chunky thighs!!! The rest should be ok. We tried to select swim suits that either have some sort of tummy control and breat support also! Thanks for reaching out Felicia!!
