Off White Jeans and Dresses For This Season

Weather in the Midwest during April and May is typically unpredictable. The weather this year has been incredible and we love it- yet, it can change to cooler temperatures, rain, ice even snow. All of this can be a challenge when putting together an outfit for the day or an event.

We love white jeans for the Spring and the Summer but sometimes it feels like off-white jeans and dresses would be a better choice this early in the Spring Season. Pairing an off-white jean or dress with jackets, colorful tops and accessories will take you through this transitional season. In addition, we have included footwear to style these outfits. As always, black and white are perfect choices for pairing with off-white.

Aren’t there a lot of off-white, ecru and ivory jeans available now? And the profiles run from straight leg, wide leg, flare, boot-cut, crop, patch pocket and barrel jean. We are not sure about the skinny jean, but that’s another day!. Our round-up are some of the more traditional profiles that could be worn for an elevated or casual look.

The Lowden Jean is a slim fit, high rise jean with a moderately wide leg. We would style it with blue tops by Brochu Walker, Land’s End, Frank & Eileen, Aritzia or J Crew.

The AG Farrah Crop Bootcut Jean is a profile that we have shown before in the blue denim wash. It’s a great classic.

We styled this with the Bella Dahl Top and the Quince Cropped Jacket for a more elevated look. Black and Ivory is such a elegant combination.

Ann Taylor High Rise Patch Pocket Flare Jean & Tie Waist Slim Jean

The High Rise Patch Pocket Flare Jean is similar to the wide-leg pair that we showcased two years ago. We are pointing out the Tie Waist Slim Jeans. They have a slim straight leg and outer ankle slits. This pair looks great with heels. Bev has these in a size 6. These jeans are now on sale for under $100. We styled these with the Ann Taylor Eyelet Pleated Sleeve top, Banana Republic’s Poppy Draped white top and a cropped trench jacket. Bev has the Good American Chino Stretch Cotton Crop Trench Coat and loves it. She has it in S/M.
