Quality Skin Care On A Budget

When Bev had her microneedling and a chemical peel performed at a plastic surgeon’s office she was surprised at their recommendations for skincare following the procedures. A simple trip to the drugstore and she was able to purchase all the products she needed. The product line is Neutrogena Hydro Boost! Some people feel that facial creams and serums sold at local drugstores are not the same quality as higher priced products, but that is just not the case. It’s our personal opinion that quality skin care can be affordable!

The daytime recommended regimen was Hydro Boost Hydrating Serum, Hydro Boost Eye Gel Cream and Hydro Boost Water Gel Moisturizer. For sunscreen protection they recommended Hydro Boost Water Gel Lotion Sunscreen 50 SPF.

The nighttime regimen that was recommended is from the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair System. These products are the Eye Cream, Retinol Oil and the Regenerating Cream. Note to self, pull your hair away from your face when you first use the oil or you will be redoing your hair too.

Olay is another respected company in skincare. The prices are affordable but the results are incredible. The Olay Regenerist Sculpting Cream along with the Tone and Max Serums are a complete skin regimen focusing on firmness of the skin, even skin tone, and improving hydration for that youthful glow. According to the scientists at the Good Housekeeping Institute who collected more then 10,000 hydration measurements and found at the three hour mark the Olay moisturized better then a cream nearly 18 times it price and beat all other products tested. Wow!!!! We were impressed.

There are so many wonderful products at all price points available. Choosing the product line that works best for you can be tricky. Through trial and error, we all find our favorites that fit our skin type and budget.
