Shopping For Fall Jeans!

We love jeans….we really do! Jeans can be dressed up or down…running around town or going out for dinner. Jeans are versatile and the various silhouettes available for all body types make jeans a good choice for everyone. We feel that skinny jeans are definitely still a look we like. What are we supposed to do with all those skinny jeans we bought??? We probably have a small fortune in our closet of skinny jeans. In saying that…we LOVE the new jean styles and feel that shaking it up adds more variety to your wardrobe.

Boyfriend Jeans, Ankle Flare, Bootcut Frayed Bottom and Distressed..the list goes on and on. There are so many jeans we love….always a problem with us! We have chosen some jeans we think you may like though. Trying on jeans is a bit like trying on bathing suits. The fit has to be right or it just doesn’t work!

Bev has on the Cabi Straight Leg Jean, Cabi Serpent Belt and the Cabi Replay Top-Oscar is not available! Val has on the Cabi Straight Leg Jean, Velvet Bianca Puff Sleeve Top. One thing to keep in mind with the hem length, it should be above the top of the bootie.

The booties below are Marc Fisher LTD Nairy Lace Up Bootie and the Blondo Sawyer Waterproof Bootie.

The jeans that Bev has finally purchased are the Mother Hustler High Waist Ankle Fray Jean. She has been resistant to the cropped look- okay highly resistant- but when she found these boots from Banana Republic, she thought that might just work. Has it? Her sweater and accessories will be featured in a future post. Val’s look is Cabi the Black Button Fly Straight Jean, Cabi Serpent Belt, Cabi Cosmo Blouse and the Cabi Busy Tank.

Val’s jeans are the Paige Claudine Ankle Flare in a dark wash, it’s almost a navy. This a great jean for fall and winter and we think the darker wash is more suitable for a dressier look. Just saying! The oversized blazer is a current trend and this blue mixed plaid looks great with these jeans. Check out the blazer here.

You really can never have enough jeans right! We will continue to shop for jeans and share our findings with you.

We spent some time at Nordstrom with Robin Jackson, a personal stylist at Somerset Collection in Troy, Michigan. She pulled many awesome jeans for us to try on. We love to shop but sometimes it helps to have a friend!

Let us know if you have a favorite jean we can investigate! Have a wonderful day and as always thank you for taking the time to read our post!
