We had such a fun morning shopping at The Tennis & Golf Company in Royal Oak, Michigan! We both love to golf and know that looking good on the golf course may help us subtract some strokes from our game….maybe?? Not as good as your eraser but we will take anything!! We were both discussing how golf clothes have evolved so much since we both started golfing! Golf dresses were not available years ago but now there are so many cute ones! The Tennis & Golf Company has an extensive and stylish collection of golf and tennis attire for Women (and Men). If you live in southeast Michigan and want to update your golf wardrobe, their Royal Oak Store should be your destination. Be prepared to spend some time looking through the many selections they offer. If you can’t make it to their store, visit their online website TennisRacquets.com. Golf Dresses
Okay, are golf dresses genius or what. Many have pockets, UV protecting fabrics and some sort of coverage for the chest and neck area. The golf dresses all come with a detachable golf short that also features pockets for golf balls or tees. The short is also there to make sure when you bend over your assets are protected!! Hahaha!
Golf Skorts, Shorts and Tops
Golf skorts – the perfect marriage of a skirt and a short. The variety of hem lengths that are now available is proof that women’s golf apparel continues to evolve. We prefer the 17-18 inch length. The fashionable direction that golf shirts are taking is one we love. We also appreciate the built in sun protection that many of the fabrics provide and coverage for the neck, upper chest and arms.

Lucky in Love is a brand that has very colorful prints and designs. We chose this vest for it’s versatility and design. The pattern narrows the waist. The long sleeve shirt is so good- adding a bit of interest to a white shirt. Thumb holes to keep your hands warm, quarter zip at the neck and the delicate mesh along the arms provide breathability.

I too love golfing, older and pretty active for my age. But saying that, I’m very aware of age appropriate length on my golf skirts and tightness of my golf shirts. Sleeveless golf shirts don’t look good on older ladies. Not sure why so many clothing companies don’t get that. Finding stylish golf attire is very difficult. I might add I’m close to 6 feet tall, so arm and waist to knee length is my biggest problem. Just an FYI, I can’t be the only one with this problem.

Thank you for your comment. We do understand the challenge of finding great looking golf clothing. For a longer skirt- Sofibella has an 18 inch Golf Colors Skirt and Athleta has an 18 inch Fairway Skort that we both own a few of. Bev has very long legs and these work great. For shirts Cabana Life has long sleeve Sport zip polos in different patterns that you may like- with UPF50+ it works very well.
