VimHue! Our New Favorite Cap!

We discovered VimHue caps last year and just couldn’t wait to tell you all about them! We both play golf and want to cover our heads to cut down on the glare and to protect our skin from damaging rays. Val’s hair turns an awful gold color when exposed to the sun and that is a bummer when you have just paid a small fortune to have your hair colored!! The VimHue hats are UPF 50+, and are made of a breathable fabric that has a cooling effect. The caps are sunglass friendly too!

Katy Craft Lim, the owner and founder of VimHue, started her company when she couldn’t find a hat that fit properly. Women’s needs were not being met in the male dominated cap market. She worked diligently to research the female skull size and other statistical data to design the cap she was envisioning. Thankfully she worked so hard because she truly has designed a cap that fits the female head so well and accommodates for various hairstyles!

The VimHue cap accommodates for a low or high ponytail or a messy bun! We both have fine hair and most hats will flatten our hair so much that we definitely need to restyle again before going out! The VimHue cap is light and doesn’t have the flattening effect most caps have. This is a definite plus for us!!!

There are two different designs you can choose from…the Sun Goddess and the X-Boyfriend.

Sun Goddess

The Sun Goddess has the ability to adjust to any height pony or bun. You simply pull the center ring up to gather the chords at the top to allow for a low pony or pull the ring down for a high pony. Yes….you can wear your hair any way your want!! Brilliant!!

X-Boyfriend

The X-Boyfriend cap can also accommodate for any height pony, accommodates for thick or fine hair and has velcro straps to tighten to fit a smaller head!
