Can you believe we are talking about Fall Sweaters when it’s 73 degrees outside? Actually yes!! Believe it or not, we are working on some tablescapes for Halloween and Thanksgiving! We are getting a head start on the coming season as time does fly.

Let’s see what Fall Sweaters are good right now and the ones you might be thinking of adding to your closet. Sweater Vests, Sleeveless Sweaters, Cardigan Sweaters, Lightweight cashmere crew neck sweaters, v-neck sweaters and turtleneck sweaters and others are leading choices for Fall sweaters. They work when the weather starts to cool off and all add timeless elegance to your look. The refined and polished aesthetic is a trend that continues and these sweaters can be the perfect example of this.

Sweater Vests are quite popular now – they can be worn alone or over a blouse or top. They make a great golf outfit too. The Varley Joilette Vest is a favorite of many. Sleeveless Sweaters

A Sleeveless Sweater can really be worn year round if it’s a lightweight fabric-think cashmere, fine wool or a cotton. The Whitney Sleeveless Knit Top by Favorite Daughter is one that we both bought. Bev has a Medium and Val has a Small. It’s a great Fall Sweater to wear year round. Check out the Boden Frill Detail Waistcoat– this looks great on it’s own or layered under a jacket or blazer.

Cardigan Sweaters

A cardigan sweater for Fall is a third piece that will add the right amount of style and polish. Pair with a pair of high waisted wide leg pant or a midi skirt. Bev has the Meraki Merino Wool Cardigan from Aritizia and loves it. It’s a defined cardigan- is a bit longer and goes in at the waist. This profile works as a jacket as well.

In this category we included the long sleeved turtlenecks, crew necks, v-necks and more that we found. We have two polo long sleeved styles in a lightweight cashmere. Both would be another look for Fall golf too.

The Teddy Sweater Vest from ME + EM looks great all by itself, with a layering piece under it or under a jacket or blazer. It looks so soft and comfy. We realize it’s a bit spendy, so we found an alternative in the Athleta In The Clouds Vest. We love the slingbacks from Madewell. They have some great pieces this fall. Bev has this sweater, tank, pants and shoes. Aritzia has some great basics that have just a bit more detail that we love. Fall Turtleneck Sweater Outfit Inspo

Land’s End has great cashmere sweaters and this one ,Women’s Cashmere Turtleneck, comes in many colors and sizes from petite to plus. We paired it with this denim skirt– denim skirts are very current right now, especially midi and maxi length. Also, the cowhide print in the belt and purse creates a more modern style.
