One of our favorite seasons of the year is Fall. We’re pretty sure we’ve said that before. Michigan in the Fall is amazing- the leaves changing color, cider and donuts, football and soccer games. There is something exciting about the transition from summer to fall in the weather and our wardrobes.

We know the weather is still warm, but new arrivals at many stores have us directing our thoughts to a fall wardrobe refresh. Adding a few versatile pieces that you can wear now and into fall is what today’s blog post is about.

You don’t need an entirely new wardrobe for each season. You can restyle what you have or add a piece or two to carry you through and we’d love to show you what we found.

The animal print continues to be a fashion trend that is always present. Stand outs are Zebra, Tiger and Fawn, however, classics such as leopard, cowhide and snakeskin show up as well. This season we are seeing this in accessories- belts and purses. The beauty of an animal print accessory is that you don’t have to commit to an entire outfit if you want to add just a bit.

Right now- pair a white, wide leg jean with a white top and an animal print belt. An animal print purse can add interest to an otherwise simple summer outfit.

For Fall- pair a great animal print belt with a black dress or a pair of dark wash jeans and a black sweater. Think of animal print as a neutral. It pairs beautifully with black, white, denim, camel, burgundy and olive green.
