Fall in Love with Chocolate Brown: Fashion, Shoes & Purses

We both love brown…we always have even before it became one of the “it” colors of fall. It may be because it reminds us of things we really like …for example…chocolate and coffee..two of our faves. Brown is softer then black and seems to fit in well with all other fall shades such os olive green, deep reds and yellows. It really is a neutral.

Brown is flattering on so many different skin tones too because there is a shade of brown that will complement most skin tones from dark expresso to warmer shades such as siena and amber. These shades of brown will often be more flattering then black as black can sometimes come off as being too stark.

Today we are going to share some of our favorite chocolate brown items available this fall.! Enjoy!

Fall in Love with Chocolate Brown: Fashion, Shoes, and Purses

Duffield Lane StretchSuede Sullivan Skirt

The Duffield Lane Sullivan Skirt on Val paired with the Rowe Top on Bev

The Duffield Lane Sullivan Skirt on Val paired with the Rowe Top on Bev looks great how we styled them but we both think wearing the skirt and the shirt together would look so beautiful! Style that outfit with a wide belt or a scarf tied around your waist and a beautiful gold earring would be a perfect look for Thanksgiving if you are a guest….not the cook! Haha!

Amazon Woven Tote Bag

Amazon Woven Tote Bag

Bev owns this Amazon Tote and what she says is so nice about it ….. it is the perfect size! You can wear it as a top handle purse or a crossbody. Looks very much like a designer bag without the hefty price tag. The magnetic closure is very sturdy and the purse closes nicely!

Tyler Boe Phoebe Skirt

This Tyler Boe Skirt is a high waisted skirt with the most beautiful and soft vegan leather. It has an A-line silhouette with a front slit which is super flattering. Val styled it with a white blouse but it would also look amazing with a sweater or tailored jacket.

Frame Le Slim Palazzo Jean

Frame Le Slim Palazzo Jean in chocolate brown

Our favorite!!! This Frame Jean is super flattering and we love the animal print because it is very subtle! This is a wide leg high rise jean with lots of stretch. Looks perfect paired with a black jacket or sweater!

Pelle Moda Hasly Block Heel

Pelle Moda Hasly Block Heel

This is such a beautiful suede pump for the fall. Love the ankle strap and the sweet little bow on the front of the Hasly Pump. The heel is 2.9 inches high but the block heel gives you the stabilization you need to be comfortable.

Dolce Vita Salma Boot

Dolce Vita Salma Boot in chocolate brown

Dolce Vita Salma Boot is a suede western inspired boot that looks perfect with jeans and skirts. This sleek pointed toe boot has a block heel and a side zip closure.

Athleta Endless Pant

Athleta Endless Pant

We both own the Athleta Endless Pant in multiple colors! This is a pant that you can definitely travel with as they are wrinkle resistant. Perfect for running errands around town but can also be worn with a sweater or jacket for a more elevated look.

Have a wonderful day! Hope you are enjoying these incredibly beautiful autumn days. We cannot believe that it is still so nice here in Michigan. Usually by this time we have had a major cold spell and rain but not this year!! Enjoy while it is still here.
