The Must Wear Colors This Fall

We cannot believe fall is right around the corner, and we’re already obsessed with the must wear colors this fall — chocolate browns, olive green, and cobalt blue are leading the pack. It is still beautiful here in Michigan and will be for some time but we cannot help but think about those gorgeous fall days that will be here before we know it!

After doing a bit of research (shopping) we have started noticing trends in fall clothing colors. Must wear colors this fall include rich chocolate browns, olive green, deep red browns, like crimson or russet, cobalt blue and muted grays. These colors are reminiscent of the changing colors of fall and the changing weather. We love these colors and they look so good on everybody. Here are a few ideas on how to put together some great fall outfits with some of the trending colors this fall.

The Must Wear Colors This Fall

Outfit Idea # 1: Olive Green, One of This Fall’s Must-Wear Colors

White Tee / Olive Striped Sweater / Olive Bear Sweater / Purse / Jacket / Jeans / Boot

Who doesn’t love the rich look of olive green? It definitely is one of our favorites for the fall season. Olive green is a neutral that blends beautifully with so many other colors and looks nice with most skin tones. It is a color that is calming and is nice to wear instead of black for a change of pace.

Outfit Idea # 2: Chocolate Brown, the Neutral Everyone’s Wearing This Fall

Earrings / Necklace / Blazer / Purse / Shoe / Blouse / Jean

We honestly think brown is popular every year in the fall! This is another color that can take the place of black and serves as a neutral since you can wear brown with many other colors. We especially like it with denim!

Outfit Idea # 3: Crimson and Reddish Brown for Fall

So excited to be seeing more shades of crimson and reddish brown clothing. This color does not wash out your skin tone but actually brightens it. We are making it our mission this year to purchase more of this shade in our wardrobe for that very reason.

Animal prints are still here in a very big way! We have always liked animal prints and most likely always will. Wear what you love…that is our motto!

Style Board #5: Cobalt Blue, the Fall Color Statement Piece
