When we thought of putting this post together, we thought-“no problem finding dresses for a summer wedding.” We were wrong- it’s tough out there. However, we put in a lot of time, found some beautiful wedding guest dresses with fun accessories and styled these for you. Today we are sharing this roundup of outfit ideas.
Wedding Guest Dresses For This Summer
Summer has always been a popular time for weddings. The pleasant weather, longer days and beautiful flowers create stunning backdrops for this special event and celebration. Invited to a very casual gathering or to a sophisticated and elegant soiree, these dresses will take you to any style of wedding you might be invited to. Here’s what we found.
Casual Wedding Guest Dresses
Wear either of these dresses to a more casual summer wedding. The Blue Palm Print Satin Slip Dress is great for a beach wedding. We would add these Larroude Block Heel Sandal to stand in the sand.
The Lola Reiss Floral Dress is another tropical floral print that we love. Pair this with a nude heeled sandal and wear a raffia clutch or a suede crossbody. Baroque pearls are very much in style this summer. Wear the Susan Shaw baroque pearl necklace, bracelet and earrings with either look.

Satin Wedding Guest Dresses
If you like satin, these wedding guest dresses are for you. The short dress by Theory is special because of the beautiful color, fabric and side ruching. The longer dress by Theia would be a wonderful choice if you need a more formal summer look. And the satin fabric is so sumptuous-seriously, the photos don’t do these dresses justice. We added gold shoes and chunky gold jewelry. Style this with a colorful clutch and get ready for the compliments. In the photos below, we added some additional accessories in very vibrant colors.
Elegant Wedding Guest Dresses
Chiara Boni is a brand that we both own. The signature stretch jersey flatters the figure with its structure and a ruffle and peplum detail. And the two styles we are showcasing- the navy dress and the dusky blue are elegant in their profile and color. The Kay Unger Dress has a great profile. It has a fitted v-neck top and pleated skirt. Formal Wedding Guest Dresses
If you have a formal wedding to attend this summer, please consider these two looks. The Banana Republic Chiffon Maxi dress is fresh and bright.
